Van Dieman's Natura Dualis - Daybreak Dual Tone Ink - 40 ml

Van Dieman's Natura Dualis professional ink collection is inspired by the natural world, where contrasts coexist harmoniously. The inks are designed to illustrate moments of duality in nature: night meets day, earth meets sky, water meets land, movement meets stillness. Each color in the Natura Dualis series is formulated for a dual- or multi-color effect. The inks are formulated to create defined edges, undertones, subtle highlights, and even color separations—revealing hidden depths after drying, depending on the nib, paper, and ink flow. The result is writing that feels alive and ink that tells more than one story.

Daybreak Dual Tone captures a liminal sky, when purple shadows are still present, but the rosy warmth of a new day has already begun to emerge. On paper, Daybreak opens with a vibrant pink base that blossoms with lavender shades and cool indigo flowing at the edges. With broad nibs and Tomoe River paper, the ink displays dramatic tonal separation, while finer lines offer a calm, uniform hue.

Van Dieman's inks are created on the Australian island of Tasmania. Handcrafted in small batches with a minimum of 95% Australian ingredients, Van Dieman's Ink takes a unique approach to both the inks and their users.
