Van Dieman's inks pay tribute to the Australian island of Tasmania, where they are produced. The inks are handmade in small batches using a minimum of 95% Australian ingredients. Each series is inspired by Tasmanian fauna, flora, history or extraordinary landscapes.
Anna's Hummingbird Face is a vibrant magenta ink from Birds of a Feather collection. This ink is named after the stunning face of the Anna's Hummingbird, a bird found in the western parts of North America.
The Anna's Hummingbird is famous for its iridescent feathers that change color in the light. The males have a bright pink throat, which is also known as a gorget, that they puff out during courtship displays.
