Van Dieman's inks pay tribute to the Australian island of Tasmania, where they are produced. The inks are handmade in small batches using a minimum of 95% Australian ingredients.
Known as one of the most colorful birds in the world, the Lilac-Breasted Roller is native to the open woodlands and savannahs of sub-Saharan Africa. Its dazzling plumage features a kaleidoscope of hues, from deep blues and vibrant lilacs to warm cinnamon browns, making it a beloved subject for photographers and bird enthusiasts alike. This bird is not only admired for its beauty but also for its acrobatic flight displays.
Lilac-Breasted Roller Tail is rich dark blue-black ink inspired by the deep hues of the bird’s tail feathers. This bold and dramatic color symbolizes the strength and grace of the roller as it soars across the African skies.
