Van Dieman's inks pay tribute to the Australian island of Tasmania, where they are produced. The inks are handmade in small batches using a minimum of 95% Australian ingredients. Each series is inspired by Tasmanian fauna, flora, history or extraordinary landscapes.
Situated within the isolated east Arthur Range of Tasmania’s South West Wilderness is Hanging Lake, one of the highest altitude melt-water tarns, a serene majestic dark blue lake hidden within the rugged back drop of Federation Peak.
This ink inspired by Hanging Lake is a dark blue-black ink with a strong mahogany sheen, and is an excellent everyday writing.
