Description
Van Dieman's inks pay tribute to the Australian island of Tasmania, where they are produced. The inks are handmade in small batches using a minimum of 95% Australian ingredients. Each series is inspired by Tasmanian fauna, flora, history or extraordinary landscapes.
Bay of Fires ink is inspired by the stunning red rocks that line the northeastern shores of Tasmania's Bay of Fires. Named by Captain Tobias Furneaux in 1773 for the Aboriginal fires he saw along the coast, the Bay of Fires is renowned for its crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, and granite rocks splashed with orange lichen.
Bay of Fires is a deep red ink that captures the deep, warm hues of the bay's iconic rocks at sunrise. It offers a smooth and consistent writing experience, with a subtle green sheen on high-quality paper that adds an extra layer of complexity and intrigue to your writing.
This ink is a tribute to Tasmania's rugged coastal beauty and the rich cultural history of its landscapes. It's a color that tells a story of natural wonders and ancient traditions, of the enduring allure of Tasmania's northeastern shores.
This ink is suitable for all types of pens. Whether you're drafting a letter, creating a piece of art, or simply jotting down notes, Bay of Fires will add a touch of natural beauty and historical intrigue to your work.
