Van Dieman's inks pay tribute to the Australian island of Tasmania, where they are produced. The inks are handmade in small batches using a minimum of 95% Australian ingredients. Each series is inspired by Tasmanian fauna, flora, history or extraordinary landscapes.
Autumn Morning is a light amber brown ink, reminiscent of the warm hues of fallen leaves. The added golden shimmer captures the sparkle of morning frost on the leaves, creating a dynamic and captivating writing experience. It's a color that brings to life the serene beauty of Tasmania's autumn landscapes, offering a unique writing experience that transports you to this picturesque season.
This shimmering ink is suitable for dip pens, brushwork, and all fountain pens that can be easily disassembled for cleaning. For the best experience, pair it with a medium or broad nib that can truly bring out its shimmer and depth of color. As this is a high saturation ink with particulate matter, we recommend gently turning the bottle to distribute the particles before use, as shaking can incorporate air bubbles that may clog the pen feed. Regular maintenance, including frequent flushing, is recommended when using this ink.
