Tom's Studio Fountain Pen Ink collection - created and designed in the UK - is an irresistible riot of color. Available in a range of vibrant colors, these stunning, high-quality inks are designed for fountain pens (especially Tom's Studio fountain pens), dip pens and brushes.
60 Pigment Black Ink is waterproof and lightfast. You can confidently apply watercolours and inks to it without the risk of smudging. The ink remains waterproof when applied in a thin or standard layer to paper and allowed to dry completely. When the ink layer is thick, there may be a risk of smudging when exposed to water.
Each bottle contains a whopping 50 ml of ink, guaranteeing plenty of writing and drawing.
Tom's Studio fountain pen inks have very good shading properties, allowing you to build up different color intensities by applying more or less ink to the paper. Please note that the color on the label may not perfectly reflect the color achieved using different tools or techniques.
Because the ink is so concentrated, it can be diluted with a little water (preferably distilled) to create watercolour washes and depth.
All Tom's Studio inks are water-based, acid-free, non-toxic and vegan. They are packed in cardboard boxes with the embossed manufacturer's logo and a color sample on the label.
Ink color: black (matte, does not contain shimmer particles).
Note! Do not store a pen with this ink for long periods of time, as it can clog the mechanism. We recommend rinsing the pen weekly. Even when the pen is capped, the ink can evaporate, leaving the nib dry. If this happens, simply dip the nib in a little water and write the pen until you see the ink flowing again.
