Little Lie Ruling Pen
Little Lie is a distinct model, appropriate for delicate calligraphy in smaller sizes with stroke precision. Its writing surface is slightly curved and narrow, allowing regularity in stroke width.
What are Ruling Pens?
They are tools originally designed for use in technical drawing. As time went on, their tips started developing into new shapes and the tools began to be used for artistic and expressive calligraphy.
They are very easy to use, with their structure being basically formed by two metal parts kept slightly apart in which ink is contained, controlled by an adjustable screw.
The Dreaming Dogs ruling pens are crafted in stainless steel with elastic properties, a material that has excellent strength and durability and does not rust, being easy to clean and providing lightness, flexibility and accuracy in strokes.
The ruling pens are crafted through a semi industrial process. The stainless steel tips are manufactured industrially to achieve maximum quality and effective control of their shape. The wooden pen handles are handmade. The assembly of pens is entirely manual, with the refinement and finishing made one by one to get the perfect fit.
Thus, attention to detail, meticulous assembly, polishing and individual testing provides superior results and a tool with excellent quality.
The nib opening adjustment is made by a screw and a knurled nut, allowing control of the flow of ink on the paper, and making it possible to use different kinds of inks, more viscous or more liquid, achieving several results with the same tool.
The wood used in the manufacture of the pen handles may present some variations in color and texture.
